ABOUT ME
Ogochukwu Obiagwu is a CPA with a background in IT audit, SOX risk compliance, and financial statement auditing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in accounting at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. Outside of the classroom, Ogochukwu engaged in professional, and community cultural development programs. Using her top strength of curiosity, at an early age she founded ByOgochukwu, a startup dedicated to “Expressing cultural pride through fashion.” Her overall passion for business, creative thinking, diversity & inclusion, and community shows in all of her endeavors. Ogochukwu's "go-getter" and entrepreneurial mindset ignites her eagerness to learn, experience new things, and improve her personal brand. She lives by the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) motto: "Lifting As We Climb." Ogochukwu's mission is to use what she learns to educate, empower, and make an impact on others! Subsequently, she created the "Secure That Bag" blog page to share her personal and professional journey. Through her work Ogochukwu hopes site visitors and blog readers, especially students, learn something new and are encouraged to achieve!
