Ogochukwu Obiagwu
Founder, Cheta Igbo
Ogochukwu Obiagwu is a data driven CPA by trade, and a proud nwaada Igbo ( Igbo daughter) by heart. Born and raised in the U.S., she grew up speaking Igbo as her first language. In 2025, she founded Cheta Igbo, as a passionate mom on a mission to help keep Igbo alive in early childhood. Through Cheta Igbo, Ogo is redefining what language preservation and cultural immersion looks like in how children learn and play. When she's not busy making spreadsheets for everything, she's finding fun ways to celebrate culture.
Cheta Igbo™ is an educational entertainment brand preserving Igbo language and culture through our culturally immersive toys, books, and activities. Known for the first ever Igbo speaking toy, we believe children learn and remember best when they play.
Our My First Igbo Toys and Books line features our Igbo speaking toy and bilingual board books. Our toys, books, and live language workshops create playful interactive experiences that nurture social-emotional development, build cultural pride, and leave a lasting impact. The Cheta Igbo experience is designed to introduce Igbo to young children and beginners in a fun and unforgettable way.
